Introduction (সূচনা): Bangladesh has
six seasons. They come one after another. Every season is different from the
other. Due to the annual motion of the earth they are caused.
Description of seasons (ঋতু বর্ণনা): The name of the first seasons
in Bangladesh is
Summer. It lasts for two months-
Baishakh and Jaistha. Then the day are long. The heat of the sun is very hot.
Most of the canals, tanks dry up for the extrim heat. Next comes the rainy
season. This season consists of two months - Ashar and Sravan. During the rainy
season the sky remains cloudy. Often there are heavy showers of rain. Rivers
tanks, wells and canals that dry up in Summer are filled up.
The earlier Autumn is the third season. This lasts or two
months-Bhadra and Aswin. Thy sky is clear and spot-less then. Every thing in
nature looks bright and Jolly, The Durga Puja is held in this season. The next
season is the later Autumn which consists of two months-Kartick and Agrahayan
The farmers are busy. They collect Aman paddy from the field. The season is bit
dull.
During winter the days are shorter
than nights, This season lasts for Pous and Magh. Sometimes strong north wind
blows and we feel biting cold. Many of us do not like this season.
Spring is -the last season
which is really the "pleasant king" of all the seasons. It lasts for
the months of Falgoon and Chitra. Everything in nature lookes bright and
beautiful and Cuckoos sing. A sweet wind blows.
Conclusion(উপসংহার): Bangladesh is
blessed with six season. We are lucky to enjoy them. There is no other country
in the world which has so many seasons to enjoy.
