A Rainy
Day(একটি বর্ষণ্মুখর দিন)
Introduction(সূচনা): A rainy day is the day of rainy
season. On this day it rains and rains without any break. It is impossible to
go out without an umbrella. The roads become muddy. Day after day the sky remains
cloudy. Now I am giving the description of such a day in the month of July.
Description of the day (দিনটির বর্ণনা): it was Monday. I went up early in the
morning. I peeped through window. The sky was overcast with dark clouds. thought
that the. atmosphere would be brighter when the sun would rise. But as the day
advanced it began to rain heavily. As it was a holiday. I was not anxious about
my journey to school. I sat by the side of the window and watched this
continuous rain.
A rainy day for poor and the rich (ধনী-গরীবদের জন্য
বৃষ্টির দিন): The
rich do not understand the sufferings of a rainy day. Such a day does not
hamper their income. They move in Cars. They do not have to stand in the rain
for buses and cars and rickshaws. On the other hand a rainy day is a curse for
the poor. The rickshaw pullars, day labourers and slum dwellers are the worst
Sufferers. Day labourers have to pass the day without food. People of cow in
come I^ group -cannot afford rickshaw and baby, taxi fare.
A rainy day to the passer-by(পথিকদের জন্য
বৃষ্টির দিন): passer-by
suffers much on a rainy day. He has to walk to a disty and muddy road. Some
times he/she has to pass through stagnant water on the road. They cannot reach
their destination with clean dresses.
Conclusion (উপসংহার) : A rainy
day is welcomed by everyday. The rhythmic sound of rainfall makes poetic.
